Default Everything is routed properly now. When in doubt, I compare with my S4.

Initially, there was no BPV; the plumbing was all screwed up. Lately, I spent mucho time testing for leaks, reconnecting vacuum hoses, buying new parts. Too bad you're not closer. I could use a shoulder to cry on sometimes. :-)

Default Re: Might be time for a leak test with some compressed air.

If you haven't already. So what symptoms are you experiencing? Just low boost?

Default Tee Hee..I've actually got the top part of it open for....

easy access to the timing marks. Did you score a 7a cover?

I need to do something with the wastegate cap. I like the stock finish but I polished it and made it a little splotchy.

I need to do a thread about the oil cap. It's an aluminum $7 ebay special that I hacksawed to look like the original.

Default Yes...It's a seat of the pants feel since the boost display portion of the

vehicle console is out. It feels like a NA 20V. Sorta like my S4 drove when the vacuum hose located behind the moisture trap popped off. I'll try running with the N75 disconnected next.

Default Hit the local auto parts store for a boost gauge...

Just get a cheap one or you can get a nice VDO for 30-40 bucks I'm surpised those hilljacks don't have all kinds of guages in there.

So is your whole trip computer out or just the boost gauge portion? I think the stock boost gauge reads off of the ECU boost transducer so that could point to a problem there.

You'll probably need a boost guage to tell what's happening especially on a stock motor. These things arent real snappy in stock form so it might be hard to feel the boost. My car was a complete dud when I got it.

Default It's almost impossible to find the TDC mark on the flywheel...

At least it was for me by myself. If you can see the one on the cam you can at least get the flywheel mark in the window to line it up. THe cover was already broken so I just modified it so you can see the marks.

Now I just need to get me one of them thar fancy cam shprockets.
