Default HP2 brakes ...Need help from the old Audi community again...PLEASE TAKE THIS SERIOUS!!

So for the last year I have been working on several new projects to bring out...the reason I am writing is for some good news.

I have recently designed and developed an HP2 brake system (based fro the S4 / S8 / S6 cars)..and I came up with a solution that is a plug and play for cars like Audi 4000, coupe, 80, 90, 100, V8!!, and so on.
The HP2 is the High Performance dual piston caliper found on just about every Sport model Audi had (has) even today.

Now before I do something stupid and invest a stupid amount of money again into a project like this which no one is interested in ...I thought I would ask ...and I ask for serious people ONLY PLEASE which might be interested.
What am I looking for in here..just as simple "yes I would be interested".../ "NOPE no interest" / comments..If you do not say anything you will not have any impact on such an idea...need I say anything further?

PLEASE no questions about how do these work? Which cars will the fit? Etc..questions...this is ONLY a seek and document questionnaire for these units.

What I can use is also support ...I have no other dealers, shops, retailers, shops..etc which will support all this crazy stuff I do so I ask all which have contact to other forums to spread a word or collect info and if needed bring it back here..this will be the central collecting point for this project. All help is appreciated and the more I get the more likely it is I can bring these out.

Some details first:
-I have designed two versions..314 diameter Disk and 321 disk.
The 314 seems to be compatible with 15" wheels..this would be a break through at least for me anyway.

-These are based on OEM components and therefore serviceable ..therefore no special tools ...weird disk or pads.

-The big question will most likely be..how much...I cannot guarantee any prices at this level...however I can give several small indicators. These should be about less then half price of a compatible Porsche system (FRONT).

-They would include the caliper, disk and pads and if need brake hoses ...but I am even trying to design without changing the hoses.

-two possibilities 4 hole (108 bolt pattern) 5 hole (112 bolt pattern) is in thought.

-When? The idea was to have the first solution (314 set ) ready by max June 2008.

The major benefit of such a system is serviceability and affordability obviously with performance standing out front obviously. IF I can provide an HP2 system with the price of a regular brake system and come close or even match some high performance brakes like Porsche obviously I would think there is good case to build these.

I got behind this idea because of the continuous problems I have with UFO's and not enough stopping power on the G60's form the S2. HP2's as mentioned are used on the later S4's S6' in Europe and S8's and beyond all over the world.

In case anyone asks...what do these HP2 calipers look like?
I have attached some shots of an HP2....so you have an idea how big or potent HP2's are I have also some pictures of these mounted ...notice the size of the thing?

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/34534/hp2_mounting.t.jpg">

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/34534/hp2_mounting-2.t.jpg">

So there you have it ...it's either go or no go ...it's either a good idea or bad idea..you decide..

Will these be compatible with OEM brackets, or will you include brackets for different model cars, Paul?

Will these work better or at least as well as UFOs on cars with 15-inch wheels?

I could see continuing interest for these if your answers are positive and the pricing is near the cost of a couple sets of UFOs.

Default some good questions...and some answers.

There are no brackts...there is no modifing your strut assembly...it's plug and play..simple as that.

Better then UFO's? ...dam after driving my V8 with UFO's for the last years and several other systems I can say anything is better then UFo's ...at least in problems corner...UFO's overall are not that bad...they stop excellent...BUT HP2's...hell go down to the dealership ask for ride in an S4 and try them out for yourself...when your eyeballs come out of the sockets under stopping ...then you will see.

And yes the idea is to offer something for at least 15" wheels. I have already done some tests and it looked promising.

I cannot spend anymore money however until I know there is an Audi community out there which will keep and maintain these cars. I am just another Audi freak which loves my car to bits...and I am trying to figure out ideas to solve everyday preblems we come accross on these car...surely Audi is not going to suport much on the older cars...or have things changed and I fell asleep again?

Anyway I need a really good response on this..
I cannot progress without knowing there is interest...no one is being asked to put in any money down! No advanced orders...no sales at all..just seeing if there is interest.

Who knows if all goes well when I go over in October to Eastern US...maybe I will show something off.

Lack of resources means I won't add myself to the yes list yet, but I think this sounds like a great idea. Keep up the good work, Paul!

On a side note, if you can find a way to make this work across a wide range of Audi models, it seems to me that you've got a sure winner.

Interested, 15" wheel version for sure! If you can make them fit Fuchs, that would be bonus!

Sounds like a good idea to me. Yes, I'm interested.

I wouldn't worry too much about including new brake lines. They are often very rotten by now and should be replaced anyway if they haven't already.
