Default Call me crazy.....

Monday I bought a 1990 Sterling 827. The price was right. So yesterday i spent the day doing some bodywork and prep, and sprayed it last night. Cleaned up the interior and took care of a few other minor issues. Car runs great. The 2.7L Acura motor is surprisingly powerfull.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with the Sterling. it was made By Land Rover and Acura from 88-91. Unfortunatly it was not very popular in the States....But I now own a piece of History.

It is an acura Legend body/drivetrain with Rover interior. And for $200 it was not to pass on.

Default wtf is clatter-canned?

I hope you dont mean rattle canned.....

I own a small business and do body work and paint for a living. I'd never rattle can a car...let alone post pics of it on the net for all to see.

Default No way! I remember these. No idea any made over. Neat find.

Kudos on the paint quality too. Did you use base/clear or what?

I usually use two step base/clear yes. If a customer is on a budget I go one step....But I prefer two step because of the color sanding ability and overall gloss.

I did this one with leftover paint from a car we did about a year ago. Thanks to generous co-workers who gave up paint they had laying around. There's your plug Mike
