    Likely it's literally one wire swapped in the plug or adding switched 12v to that pin...

    on the headlight plug, done and done, always on. if you have the proper switch with DRL control then you would want to find the pin that does the DRL power and get it to feed the LED, then you can turn on and off as you see fit.
