I did manage to have my dealer VAG my bluetooth connector so that my voice activation now works perfectly in the roadster. Then I tried the iPod. Now, I've read that the adapter really sucks and I'm believing it. I have an iPod Classic 80G - and of course, none of the adapters fit - so I just inserted the thing into the slot. It worked - for about 5 minutes. Then the system didn't recogize CDs 7-12 and just gave me the "NO CD" reading and defaulted to AUX. Even when it was working, it didn't read my playlists properly - but I was able to get songs to play from the unit. Now, I'm just getting the error message. Two questions - is there an adapter I should be using for this iPod that isn't supplied with the car? And second, any thoughts as to why the unit's not working? It's a new iPod that does work fine with headphones, so I'm stumped. Back to the dealer - what's everyone's experience. I haven't tried the AUX input, but shouldn't have to with the adapter.
Thanks for any suggestions.
