Default TT Fuel Leaks - Update

My last post I mentioned Audi Germany were sending an expert out to inspect what was left of my TT.
Initially he agreed with my forensic expert about the fire starting in front of the right front wheel in the area of the FSU.

When we received Audi's report it was a joke. They claim I had an accident damaged the sump and that the resulting leaking oil caused the fire???

They seem to forget the fire started in rush hour traffic and there are hundreds of witnesses who saw where the fire started.

Thanks to my earlier posting I have managed to build a considerable database of TT owners all over the world who have experienced the fuel leak from the FSU. I have decided to stop talking to Audi and go ahead and issue summons based on the evidence we have gathered.

The leaking FSU is still a major problem with the TT. I hear from TT owners on a daily basis who are experiencing the leak.

I would appreciate any TT owners who have experienced this problemn since my last posting, getting in touch with me with their details.

I will keep you updated as to how the court case goes.

Regards,
SATT

Default possibly repeat

my tank sensors failed, were replaced and leaked - right in front of the right rear wheel (incompetent tech)

replaced again, leaked MUCH WORSE - car was flat towed back to the dealer since it was a fire hazard! finally decent tech replaced them again and they've been fine since.

i might have the paper work if needed...

I remember that, Julie, we were worried about you going up in flames at the time...
