Default Issues after Forge DV-R Valve install

Hi all,

On my TTC 225, since I put a black Forge DV-R, I met this problem on my VAG COM :

1 Faults Found:
17608 - Boost Pressure Control Valve (N249): Mechanical Malfunction
P1200 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

I've also a new noïse when I change speed manually, a kind of noïse of original failed valve. Is it normal ?

When I put the OEM one, I've no errors.

Any help please ?

Thx in advance

Yes ok, but is there a plausible explanation to that ? I used the green spring to look like to the OEM pression. I really don't understand !

Default My point is why move to the DVr if the stocker works fine?

Unless there is some amazing result I'm missing it just isn't worth the bother and cost IMO. If I had a DV fail today I'de spend the $35-45 on a replacement Bosch DV.

Because I've heard that the DV-R is more performant in all of points than the OEM ! Am I wrong ?

Default I won't say you are wrong but maybe the performance gains are really more anecdotal than anything...

on an otherwise stock rig. Mind you I've not tried any other DVs and have run the Bosch since 2000 on my chipped 180 without any problems whatsoever.

Default Was the original valve failing is the question?....It does make noise normally.....

such as lifting off the throttle at mid-higher rpms. If it's a slight whoosh it's normal. If it's honking or fluttering maybe it failed.

Default Vacum is routed through the N249.......>>

Then on to the DV. It's that bundle of snakes on top of the valve cover. I'd clear the codes and see if they come back.
