Default My new custom cat-back exhaust... finally!

2.5" mandrel bent cat-back system with no resonator and straight through backbox with 4" angle cut tips - sounds deeper (enjoy the burbble and popping noises) more aggressive and raspy. There's a little more cabin noise esp around 3K - but it's passed the girlfriend test with her not noticing much difference (always a good test!).

I'm extremely happy with the added performance (butt dyno only so far). Throttle response is much improved with the turbo spooling faster and the engine revving freer. Note I am MTM chipped - whereas before the car felt like it ran out of puff at about 5400 revs it now pulls strongly like a **** to redline ..find myself needing to be careful not to hit the limiter. I've lost no low end torque - in fact feels like it pulls harder down low also.

Should have done this ages ago!

Should have seen the techs face when i asked him to buff the piping...

With all the posts here of leaking exhausts I decided to get the joint flanged...

1150 AUD ..so about 750 USD. For comparison Milltek costs about 2200 AUD (1440 USD) here.
