Default Here's my pictures from the quattro Challenge on Saturday.

I took a bunch of pictures, and you can see them all <a href="http://laer.nu/tt/quattrochallenge/">here</a> or you can just see the highlights here on this page. I'm going to try to get some videos digitized later on including some in-car videos from the speed laps...Which everyone thought was the best part of the whole day.

Here's a few of the cars lined up for speed laps. There's the allroad, A4, S4 and S8.
<img src="http://laer.nu/tt/quattrochallenge/MVC00115.JPG">

Here's the instructor who was driving the S8. I just have one thing to say about this car...Driving an $80,000 sports/luxury sedan with 390 HP is nice.
<img src="http://laer.nu/tt/quattrochallenge/MVC00123.JPG">

The new A4.
<img src="http://laer.nu/tt/quattrochallenge/MVC00128.JPG">

A Raven Black TT Coupe with a bunch of add-ons from Audi. I think just about everyone liked the chrome grille strips, but the verdict is still out on the spoiler.
<img src="http://laer.nu/tt/quattrochallenge/MVC00130.JPG">

I've never seen a up-close shot of Raven Black, so here it is.
<img src="http://laer.nu/tt/quattrochallenge/MVC00135.JPG">

Here's the line-up of cars in my group (Green Group.) There were 120 cars on Saturday, and we were broken into 4 groups.
<img src="http://laer.nu/tt/quattrochallenge/MVC00137.JPG">

I got a free car wash and detailing by simply volunteering my car first.
<img src="http://laer.nu/tt/quattrochallenge/MVC00142.JPG">

Here's the hood all shiny after the left side had been polished. The right side is unpolished.
<img src="http://laer.nu/tt/quattrochallenge/MVC00145.JPG">

Here's a TT Roadster going through the wet handling course. Audi had a professional photographer taking pictures as we went through this portion of the course, and we will receive a picture of our car in email in a couple of weeks.
<img src="http://laer.nu/tt/quattrochallenge/MVC00150.JPG">

Here's all of the cars that participated in the Saturday challenge.
<img src="http://laer.nu/tt/quattrochallenge/MVC00165.JPG">

After the event was over, Audi treated us to a "Dinner with Sue" at the Field Museum. Sue is the dinosaur in the background.
<img src="http://laer.nu/tt/quattrochallenge/MVC00189.JPG">

Here's our German band...They even played the giant horn. I'll have a video of these guys later on.
<img src="http://laer.nu/tt/quattrochallenge/MVC00176.JPG">

As we were leaving the track, Audi provided us with a little gift pack which included a 5 gallon bucket, detailing spray, wax and some amazing wheel cleaner.
<img src="http://laer.nu/tt/quattrochallenge/MVC00196.JPG">

I think this means that I'm advised to not put water in a bucket for babies to drink. I guess the water would be too dirty or something.

Default Oh yeah...One more picture from the event you won't see on any other forum. :)

A stereogram of Sue.

This is a cross-your-eyes kinda stereogram...Not the relax-your-eyes type.

For those not familiar with stereograms, you cross your eyes until the two images lines up (you may have to move a ways back from your monitor) and then the image will be in 3D...Kinda like in a ViewMaster.

<a href="http://laer.nu/tt/quattrochallenge/suestereogram-small.jpg">Here's a smaller version for those with smaller monitors.</a>

Must have been a fun day! But I'm not sure if I want to see that band playing, though ;-)

Nah. You have to see them playing the bells doing some song from the Sound of Music.
