Default Had a great drive home today

I took the long way home... went down to the local Audi dealership on my way home... turned a 15-minute drive into an hour drive.

I was enjoying the TT's acceleration from 50 to 100 on a back road. I can't believe that I still find I love this car even more now after one year!!

I lucked out though. I was accelerating uphill... had just hit 110 approaching 115 when I started to slow down. I had to take the right fork up ahead (still out of sight) and knew I needed to slow down to 35 to take the turn safely.

As I came up over the hill I saw a police car coming from the other direction turn on the road I was about to head down! Phew!! I could have been caught with my pants down tonight! That was close!!

Yup, I love driving the TT fast, but even at 30mph, I just love cruisin' in my TT. :-)

Default rTexas pointed out the coupe ain't big enough to get caught with your pants down. ;-)

I have the roadster, so there is NO room to get caught with your pants down. :-D

Default Yes, there seem to be many of them around - I was on Morrisville-Carpenter heading off to ..

55/Alston/O Kelly/751 .. there were two following me - one followed me for awhile, the other turned off, then met me on another road coming at me from the opposite direction. Luckily, I had to slow down due to some wild pigs running around .. or else I would of been nabbed .. gee, your message holds no 'hope' for me and this addiction, even after a year if you are still crazy about the car ?? My sweet spouse is now asking 'where have you been at this hour' type of questions .... uhhhh sweetie - just driving ... really !!

Default hehe... well, I'm one year of ownership and no ticket... I don't expect it to remain that way. ;-)

Hopefully it does though.

Have you purchased a radar detector yet???

Default I've been very happy with my V1... I love the locator arrows

People on the forum like the V1 & 8500 (Escort). I can't say much about the 8500 becaues I've never even been in a car with one. I can just say that being able to tell exactly where the radar came from immediately is immeasurable...albeit more expensive.
