Yep, it came with a long-handled "torx" type driver designed to adjust the large external bolts that hold the rack to the trunk lid mounts, but it's also to allow you to adjust the "reach" & tension of them individually, by reaching underneath the rack rails to the screws inside of/underneath the trunk lid mounts-
Mine came (used...) with 3 of 4 plastic "bushings" cut to fit underneath the trunk lid mounts- I used some clear PE weather-striping tape cut to size to replace the missing stock piece- shoot me an email to "silver930turbo@yahoo.com" and I'll get the manual scanned & send it out for you, hopefully by tomorrow-
