I did a full suspension refresh up front this week. Balljoints, tie rods, subframe, new urethane dogbone inserts, new hardware all around. Got an alginment @ -1.5 front and -2.4 rear with of course perfect toe.

Still left to do is secure belly pans with new hardware and washers. Replace front strut mounts and check torque on all wheels to 100 ft/lbs. Pop in my new set of Denso IK22's and replace the rear strut's lower mounting bolt with high quality 10.9 grade hardware due to one side breaking and I have been using home depot junk for years. I want my car to be able to stand up to this trip without one failure!

Of course I am going to do all my tire pressures and I just bought a 20" toolbox to bring on the trip that I plan to fill with the essentials. I have extra coilpacks (but don't think mine will fail) as well as extra spark plugs and another MAF. I'm going to have Greg take my jack and stands in his car. The both of us are planning on something going VERY wrong on this trip (with 160k on his car it might be him first not me!). So were driving down with each other lol!



Hope to meet a few forum members there since I have sadly never had the chance to do a TT event yet. Although I have been doing Waterfest & show and go for the past two or three years. (Yes, even when I didn't have a car!) This will be my first year @ H2o!
