Got the V5 from Steve works great. I made a few modifications for my location...can't I leave anything alone.
Got a free 760 Garmin, never would have purchased one, and never really liked adding accessories, but it was free.

Put a slight bend at the bottom of the V5:



Also added this, a cut off piece of wire tie:



And kept it in place with electrical tape. This helps keep the mount in place. It can now be turned and positioned for any location. The wire tie teeth give a little friction:



Mount in place, the slight bend allows it to clear the switches if it's positioned at the bottom.
