I'm sure it's Legal to sell without a title "In Hand" because of various pay-off logistics on trades etc. Happens all the time, BUT, I'm also sure there are some time constraints to consumate the sale with the proper documentation..It is their obligation to provide you with a clear title.
Tell Jeff I'll come up there and Kick his A$$.....:-)....we go WAY back.
