    I wouldn't have fixed it at a dealer except for the fact that I didn't have any indie's that I trusted in the area at the time. And on top of all that, I was hugely pissed off at the fact that they wouldn't let me supply a metal impeller. I'm not too upset about it anymore. I figure, if both the pump and the belt have similar life spans, I'll have other opporunities down the line to replace the impeller with a metal one. Plus, I considered myself lucky that the failed pump pushed me to replace my timing belt, instead of it being the other way around.
