    Thanks, all, for the tips on replacing my rear sway bar links. I now understand the warnings about cross-threading that big bolt on the bottom of the shock -- The way the bottom of the link wants to sit not-exactly-inline with the hole in the hub carrier, it's difficult to hand-thread that 21mm bolt in properly.

    To ensure I'd get the big bolts threaded right, I installed them loosely before attaching the top of the link. Then, because I needed to re-lube the sway bar bushings anyway, I just removed the bushings... making the sway bar easily movable and making it much easier to get the bolts all on right.

    Did I mention, this is a great forum?
