Default Scangauge testing and availability...>>>

With a few TT's in the driveway this weekend we were able to do some programming and installs, as well as some fitment mock-ups.. We were able to add Fuel trims (Block 32), O2 outputs and Horsepower to the supported gauge functions.
You can display any (4) of the following data points at one time:

Supported Gauge outputs:

TPS: Throttle position sensor 0-100%
fIA: Intake Air Temps (Temperatures at the intake manifold)
fWT: Coolant water temperature
HPR: Horsepower
VLT: System Voltage
IGT: Ignition timing (advance)
LOD: % Power request
Closed/Open loop: Fuel management and transition point from O2 control to WOT
STF: Short term Fuel trims (Idle % on Block 32)
LTF: Long term Fuel trims (Partial throttle on Block 32)
OX1: #1 O2 sensor output, 0-100
OX2: #2 O2 sensor output, 0-100
MPH: Digital speed reading from Speed sensor
RPM: Digital RPM's
MPG: Miles per gallon
GPH: Gallons per hour

Trip Data: Fuel economy, Fuel used, Distance, drive time, Avg. speed, Distance/time/fuel to empty, ETC.

Scan Tool: Code reader and eraser, Readiness test, Turn off CEL's

My only disappointment is we were unable to get a Boost display do to some anomalies of the TT MAP sensor...Ah well...

The other bits of available data are worthwhile though and can serve as a good diagnostic suite without the need for a VAG (MAF and O2 health, Temps, etc.) Reading and clearing codes on the Fly is a big plus as well.. Surprisingly the Crank Horsepower reporting function appears initially (on several cars) to be very accurate (272 on KrusTTy's car, 467 on the Vette...Looks to be within 2% of expected numbers). Hans and Robert will report in later today. On mounting, we found a few places that work well.
KrusTTy chose the V4 mount:

Hans went with the lower cubby mount and eventually fished and hid the cable for a very clean look:

"L" bracket:

I have a limited number of these ready to go and will do the programming to add the fuel trims, O2 output and Horsepower before shipping. A second cable is available if you want to set one up in a second car after hiding/routing the included cable in your primary vehicle. Hook-up involves plugging into the OBDII port...that's it!

Default Ok...

Gimme one... With the second cable. Do you have any of your old OBD relocation housings? Let me know the PP total and I'll get it on the way.

Default I can't wait to play with one. On the HP output from the device......

you then feel that this unit gives a much more accurate number than the TQ number from the VagCom??? The problem, as you noted, is that the VagCom does not account for most mods, specially the air flow from the ****. Does this unit then account for mods??

This is why I didn't even pursue the TQ/HP calculations from VagCom and went to Andy's "Butt Dyno" approach instead. Have you performed any comparisons on the TT??

Default I need a few more data points from some different cars...>

But initially the accuracy appears to be very close... From Dynos I've seen of my car with similar mods I would expect 475 hp. TheVette, under full chat, is like riding a rocket sled, so the only glance I had showed 467... On KrusTTy's car with APR 93 and the normal mods (****, VTDA, Etc). the reported 272 would seem very close as well..
