Default Oil Temp Sender Install

I couldn't find anything when I searched but I'm sure someone has done this too. Basically I'm not a big fan of the oil plug version so I went this route. I think this is easier to do and is also less expensive. You will need an oil temp sender from a 1993 VW Corrado SLC V6. WorldImpex has them for under $10 shipped to you. If anyone has any questions or comments please don't hesitate to ask. I also noticed the sender had VDO stamped on it.

Details: Install Write-Up Here

Default Are temp senders universal or do they need to be matched to a brand of gauge. i.e. will this vdo

sender work with defi, autometer, etc...?

Absolutely. If you have access to other brand gauges you should test it.

Default Pay attention now...>>

Al those ports are M10 x 1.0, but most gauge senders are 1/8th NPT......The sizes are so close you could screw up. Best to check before you screw!
