Default So there's no way to use electronics spray and clean the relay out? Jeff B, I thought you did this

or did it not work...don't remember.

Default Well, I don't think there is any way to open the unit up. I wanted to take the old one apart to see

what it looks like on the inside (curious as to what makes the "clicking" sound) and had to break it into pieces to get to the inside.

Default Same, that's what I want to do...since all I think is that the contacts need cleaning

to make it work properly again. I'll probably keep the old one just as a back-up...but will definitely have to swap it out soon.

Thanks again for the nice pic instructions!

I am trying to replace the hazzard.
I went to BestBuy and had the stereo installer remove the radio. I removed the panel.
No I'm trying to "pull down on this hinged plastic piece until it unsnaps. It takes a bit of force, but it releases all of the dash buttons."

Where is the piece I am pulling down? Is it the flimsy plastic crossbar in the back (mine had duct tape on it too).
Or is it something towards the front? Or something on the side. I can't seem to find it.

If it is a blinker relay....is this an expensive part? I'm sure the dealer charges at least an hour of labor. Thanks!

Thanks for the R/R information. It was a quick easy job when you have good pic's and info.
My blinkers started to work intermittently and I was wondering where and how to access relay.
I made a couple radio removal tools out of sheetmetal to look somewhat like shown in link, worked perfect.

https://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec63a.shtml</a
