If anyone ever needs to do something similar. Boring wasn't an option, shops didn't want to take the risk.

I came across these hub adapters.

Even if I bored the wheels I would have needed spacers to correct the offset, Et52 to Et37. So this turned out to be a good option without having to compromise the wheels.

Maybe not super relevant to this forum. But been happy with the TTRS wheels on the A6. Had them refinished bronze as I have the wagon being wrapped midnight green.
