I've been paying $20/month for Audi Connect. I wonder if I can can the service? Would the scrolling maps still work properly?

If your CarPlay is currently working with < 1389 you might wish to stay at that revision. Upgrading to 1389 to gain Google Maps may leave you with a CarPlay crashing issue that early TTRS owners suffered from. I had 1389 on my 2016 TT and and fixed it the CarPlay problem by buying an OEM SD card of version 1467 from a German supplier.

Can you name the German Manufacturer please? I see these kinds of posts everywhere and folks just say “the upgrades are on the internet for those who know where to look.” I dunno where to look I guess. :-)

The part is 4M0906961EK. I purchased it from Händler Parts, Germany. The card part number doesn't seem to be there anymore. I don't know if it was replaced by a newer part.

Let me know if anyone needs a link where they can download this version for about $35.
I'd like the link, too please 😁
