Default (Potentially) New 2021 TTRS Owner - two questions

Hi all

I'm hoping to be the proud owner of a new 2021 TTRS in Nardo Gray in the coming week and was looking to bounce two questions I had off of current owners/people in the know...

1. How big of a discount off of the MSRP should I feel happy with? (tried to find a "post your deal thread" but I either failed to find it or one doesn't exist on this forum)
2a. Are the upgraded N/A OLED taillights still worth $1600 considering (as I understand it) that they do not perform the same wake/on animation that the Euro OLED taillights perform?
2b. Can I find a TTRS without them/upgrade to the Euro tails for around the same cost? (found a thread talking about this... however, no pricing was posted/discovered and/or links to buy the Euro taillights all went nowhere/resolved to a dead page)

The current deal I negotiated (taking the weekend to think it over) nets me a 6% discount or $4,673.70 off MSRP

2021 TTRS Nardo Gray
$72,500 - Base
$1,000 - Destination Charge
$1,450 - RS Design Selection Interior - Red
$1,600 - OLED Taillights
$1,000 - Sport Exhaust w/Black Tips
$300 -
Black Badges & Rings
$77,850 MSRP ($73,176.30 sale price)

I just bought nearly the identical car (just no OLED and a 2020) 2 months ago.

Best I could get was 6% off on 2021's (and I called everywhere).

A new car discount of 6% below MSRP is what you can typically get via car buying services (ACNA, USAA, etc.) on many Audi models (TTRS typically not included) so that's a good deal. Enjoy!!

2a) I'd try to find a car without them, as yes, the NAR OLEDs don't do the cool animation, and you can't code them to act like the ROW lights – it's purely in the hardware. I found a Euro set for $1200, used but like new. Ebay had some available when I was shopping around a few months ago.

Definitely don't pay for the North American OLEDs. The European lights are plug and play.

Get the car. That is a good discount. When I bought my 2018, I got nothing. The ripoff dealer, Audi North Austin, initially marked them up 8K over MSRP! At the time, i was happy with MSRP. Now, I'm pissed.

When I got my 2020 TTS, Costco had discount that was even better than my ACNA membership-which I think was 6%.

Almost no discounts like that can apply to the RS models.

If it makes you feel better, I’m getting 0% off my bespoke RS.

Yeah I got 0 discount and that is what multiple places were telling me. Passed on the OLEDs
