New Inventory?

The factory is going to produce them for 2021. The question is will anyone in the US order them. I had not looked at new inventory for some time and checked cars.com after your post. In the entire US there are 15 TT, 7 TTS, and 15 TTRS sitting on lots. In the past few years there have been very few TTs of any model on lots because the average dealership only sold 1 every 2-3 months so they didn't want cars sitting around but I've never seen inventory this low. A year ago you would typically see about 50-60 new base TTs in the US, or about 1 for every 4 dealerships. You can always order one. A special edition TTRS celebrating 40 years of quattro was recently announced.

I wish I understood Audi USA's logic here.
The old adage is "if you build it they will come".
The converse is also true "if you don't build it, they DEFINITELY won't come".
Dealers don't stock TT's, so they don't sell TT's. But they don't sell TT's because they don't stock them, and there are none to be seen...
I wish that we could be the TT army that puts an end to the SUV-loving mass hysteria.

To this day I rarely see another TT of any mark or model. Unique it is.

There are three in my area (upper Westchester County) that I see regularly (besides by '19 TTRS) - two Mk1 Coupés, and one Mk3 Roadster (pre-facelift).
My dealer tells me he is very sad that everyone in our area wants stupid SUVs, which makes it hard to justify stocking any version of TT, given his limited space. Weird thing though is that he tells me that when my car was sitting in front of the dealership for three weeks (it was a special order, and arrived while we were travelling), there were several offers from folks who wanted to buy it right then and there (of course, it was already mine).

That is why I bought my TT RS.
Where I live in Northwestern NJ and I've seen a bunch of TT and TTS. I've only seen two TTRRS in the year and a half I've own mine. All told I've seen maybe 4 or 5 in the Northeast.
BTW, my dealer still has a 2020 TTRS is stock.

Yup, I concur, I see few TT's or TTS's
Only one TTRS
That is why I love my car. I don't see it everywhere, and I know it performs well above it's price.
I pity the Jag F-type buyers.

there are a total of 117 21's as of now, between all. Not many get allocations, and even those who do, don't necessarily want them. As of now, there are no further TTRS allocations, but out of all the models, that will be likely the most allocated, as it's the one with the most inherent demand. A few RS’s exist now, but not many.
36 2020's still exist, and that would be the one to score the deal on
