Default MY2019 Update rumors?

Hey folks, my MY2016 TT lease is up next November. If I go with another TT, it will probably be ordered next summer as a 2019 model year. Is there any information regarding whether Audi is doing cosmetic and/or technical updates to the TT for 2019? Seems like it shall be due, as the 4th year for this platform.

2019 = 5th year, as the MkIII debuted as MY15 in Europe. Would seem likely.

You've probably thought of this, but in case you haven't......

When your current lease runs out (or shortly before it runs out), there will be leftover 2018 models of the TT available. You could turn in your 2016 TT through the Audi dealer early, buy (lease) a leftover 2018 TT at a nicely discounted price, and roll over any remaining lease payments on your 2016 TT into your new financing/lease of the 2018 TT. I've done this kind of deal before, and they make it very easy for the customer...no need to wait for a 2019.

Good luck.

When do you guys think the MY19 models would come out? I'm in a MKVII GTI now, but by spring next year i'll be ready to move to the TT like i've always wanted. I'd be happy to get a great deal on a leftover 2018, but i also always want the latest and greatest so MY19 TT's are an interest of mine for sure.

Default Caution. When the dealer makes it easy, is because they make a LOT more........

No reason to release the 19MY earlier. The Mk2 had a facelift in 2011, 4 years after the launch worldwide (There were no 2007MY TTs sold in the US). The Mk 2 facelift had a lot of former options as standard equipment and a significant engine upgrade,

i guess what i meant was do you think that MY19 will come in fall of 2018? I'm budgeted to buy the car in June or July of 18, but i'd consider waiting a few months to see the 2019's if it comes in september/october.

If you figure out when the 2018s started reaching dealer showrooms, could you then assume that the 2019s will similarly arrive 12 months hence?

P.S. Did the 2018s start arriving last month (November)?
