Another Question about TPMS
My 2018 TTRS doesn't have real time TPMS, but I eventually want to add that feature. I know about the kit that includes all the parts except the 2019 TPMS wheel sensors. Now, my question is: I'm getting new tires this summer and it would be a good time to get the needed real time TPMS sensors. Would my current system continue to function with the new TPMS sensors from the 2019 TTRS? I could get the sensors then and then wait until I can procure the rest of the parts. Any thoughts?

Mais Oui. The new in-tire sensors will just sit there trying to communicate to nothing until you install the balance of the individual-tire-readout parts. In the meantime the current system will continue to function as your primary TPMS (via ABS-MMI rotational differential computation)
