Default Well, I did it......RS4 for TTS.....

Ice Silver/19" twin spoke/Prestige Pkg/ Magma&Black leather

It may be blasphemy for some, but right now it just made the most sense for me.

Love the interior; maybe just slightly more than what I had in my RS.

Will post impressions after the first 500 miles or so.

Couple quick observations:
- The TTS navi screen looks wider than the RS. I'm not sure if it's just because of the higher position in the dash and the fact the dash tilts slightly to the driver

- Man, the side mirrors are huge. Nice to see a lot of what's going on behind you.

- DSG is slick; pretty much what I expected.

- I'm a little surprised there's no sunroof, but I can see Audi's marketing ploy to have people go for the cabrio.

- Steering wheel is nice; love the flat-bottom and better than the RS.

- The engine is a lot quieter than I expected. I guess I got so used to smaller engines being "buzzy" (from driving previous Acuras/Hondas).

That is all for now. More to come in the following weeks

If you don't take more than 1 adult w/you most of the time then why have 4-door?

Default I agree with you. I didn't really need a 4-door.....

....but the RS4 wasn't your "normal" 4 door car

Default I don't miss my B6 S4, there are just a few small things that I miss that the TTS

doesn't have, for one is the dimming outer mirrors, and naturally the sound. Other than that the TTS is great fun, and with a few mods it gets pretty quick, so at least you can get the speed out of it.
