Default TTS price announced!

ProjectA3 (a Audi Brand Specialist @ Audi North Scottsdale) recieved pricing from Audi on the TTS!

"Finally recived the pricing for the TTS coupe and roadster today
Coupe is $45,500 base price and roadster is $47,500

Premium + is $2000 more and Prestige is $5000 more than base price. the other options are the same price as the normal TT's."

My source was correct... He told me to expect a price between 45-50 base with it leaning more to 45k! I'm a happy camper!

Wow... What's the point in selling the 3.2 then?

Default But this really makes a lot of sense. C'mon, the Z4 M Coupe starts at 50k

In all honesty, I can't see how some people could have expected it to cost more than ~46k. It is pretty much the same power level as the 3.2, with the only difference being that a turbo 4 cyl was used instead of a V6. I couldn't see how the TT S could cost insanely more when it has that issue to deal with, as well as higher hp competitors for not much more money.

SLK350 w/300hp: 50k MSRP/46k invoice
Z4M w/330hp: 50,400 /$46,370
Cayman w/245hp: 49k
Boxster w/245hp: 44k

Default Fair price. TTS with Prestige, leather & destination should go for about $54K...

... that should be the most common config.

Yup. And car magazine claims it still can't touch the Cayman in terms of handling.
