Default TTRS officially a GO for US

I just received word (as will any of you who signed Audi's petition) that Audi USA will be bringing in a limited number of TTRS's for 2011! No pricing info as of yet, but get your deposits ready.

That's my question as well. Will Audi offer a DSG transmission by late 2011? This appeared to be their intention, at least in Europe.

Have they offered any other RS model without the third pedal?

So I looked it up. RS5 has the new 7-speed. I'd forgotten all about the 5. Just not a car I follow, pretty as it is.

I don't miss my third pedal at all, and a 7-speed DSG sounds like fun + 1 to me, so bring it, says I! A 3P6 is certainly Fun City too, though.

i have been on the fence about getting a TTS or S4, but a TTRS sounds good to me. I just hope i am ready to buy in time for the deposit. Also hoping for DSG since i do not drive stick. if not i would always be happy with the S4

I would consider the TT-RS if it's around the 60k mark....anymore than that you either save up for the RS5 or go with the S4 or S5.

I would be surprized if anyone nabs a TTRS new for under $60K in the first year. I'm certainly willing to be wrong here, but I don't think so.

Based on the percentage difference of the TTRS over the TTS in the UK, I'm guessing $68.5K in the US.
