Default Three questions from a noobie.

Purchased my first Audi ( 2008 TT Quattro 3.2L 6speed) about four months ago, been very pleased with it thus far, however i have a few questions. First off, my right DRL has gone out, im wanting to do the repair myself, anyone know of a manual to which i could refer? Second, it has the audio package with the iphone/ipod jack in the glove box, it will stream my music for me however it will not charge the device, tells me its not supported. Any way to upgrade the cable? And third, before i go though the trouble of removing the wheels, does anyone know how many sensors are on the break pads.

Thanks in advance.

Same thing happening to me on my 08 TT with the iPod. By reading some other forums, I came to the conclusion that it is not the cable but the head unit - it is too old to handle the new iPods/iPhones. A better solution would be to replace it with a newer RNS-E or an aftermarket unit...

Are you sure it's not charging? Could be just the cable - my phone gives me an error sometimes if I don't plug it in aligned correctly, but it charges fine if I insert straight and true.

I believe the cables are replaceable separately from the head unit too, and I don't think the dock interface for the iPod/iPhone has changed, has it?

The only manual that I am aware of is the Bentley DVD manual. It is available at most Audi shops and costs from $75 to $130. There isn't a paper manual like the Mk1 has published yet. http://www.bentleypublishers.com/audi/
