Default I'll tell you...

...<font color="003366"> tomorrow. Along with a couple of pictures. Maybe.

Here's part of the lineup we've been going through...

... since the start of the week. Today I'm in the TT 2.0q 6M roadster and the TTS S-Tronic coupe (second and third from the far end). Please excuse the cell-phone camera's crummy optics.

Default You dont NEED alot of things until its too late..........

whats the quote? better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. Quattro has SAVED my A$$ more times than i can count. You can never fully anticipate the road ahead, Just be prepare for what ever it may throw at you. If you drive like me GrandMutter FWD might be OK ;-)

Default I live in Denver and get around just fine with the FWD and proper tires

I had a Mk1 TT with quattro and it was nice, but it isn't the night and day difference that people think it is.

However, if you are only going to have 1 car and quattro is available, then get it

Why ever would I care to drive a sport coupe in the snow/salt and Chicago pot holes during the winter?

Default However the 2.0T will get the new 2.0T engine as the TTS's engine is based upon the old design

although it has been strengthed over the older standard BPY.

Dubious. Why would Audi make the TTS with an old engine while the TT gets a new one?

I was led to believe the 2.0 is still only available with s-tronic.

Not really - since the development of the TTS engine started probably 5 or more years ago

Default Development, yes, but the actual construction should be using the same basic

engine that's going in the 2.0T. Seems it'd be more cost effective to have one engine on the line vice two, prior to the bigger turbo and other goodies the TTS gets.

Quick Reply: so they'll be selling both the TT 2.0t quattro and the TT-S in the US?
