Please help me find someone...
I just bought a 2015 TT Roadster convertible on Saturday.
One thing that I asked the dealer point-blank was if the voice command could be activated on the car (after all, the steering wheel has the button), since it comes deactivated from the factory. "Yes, it can be, no problem" and he proceeded to hand me a card from a fellow that does "reprogramming" work in my area.
Well, the deal was done, the car delivered, and I haven't been able to make contact with the third party. He hasn't answered emails, voicemails.
So, I am now asking the dealer for a reason why they cannot do it themselves for the right amount of money. So, if anyone knows:
1. Are dealers prohibited somehow by Audi from doing this type of activation?
2. Do you know anyone in the northern Virginia area that will do this? I have no idea what a VAG COM is (I've been perusing the Internet), and that fact means that I can do much, much more damage than good to the car if I attempted to do anything with it.
Please someone help me. This feature is very important to me.
Regards,
...Jose

I didn't know the 2015 TT Roadsters were available yet. But, anyway, not sure why vag-com is needed for activating a factory spec item. The dealer should have been able to do it for you if the car is "set-up" for the process. I'd go to another Audi dealer's service department and ask them to "fix" it for you.
