OEM Audi iPod Interface

I looked into several of the aftermarket units that plug into the back of the head unit, but I had a couple of similar devices in two of my Escalades & they were a disaster - didn't work right, screwed up my XM, etc. You really can't go too wrong with OEM.
This little device looks intriguing. It's available with a 30 pin or lightning connector & you could just run a cable into the glove box & plug it into the 30 pin connector in the iPod adapter.http://specdock.com/car/make/audi/tt...-dock-131.html

Everything (sat radio, aux input, all other features) work fine.

Congrats - I've been using mine for a few months now & it works great.
Did you also install the Tune2Air bluetooth adapter? With that you have the full functionality of what ever device you connect - no playlist limit.

That does look like something to check out. Having the full functionality would be nice. But at least now on my multi day road trips I won't need to fiddle with the iPod when I take lunch breaks or want to listen to the radio.
