Just ordered roadster on Friday
Want to run the numbers and see how others are doing in terms of their deals - probably could have done a little better, but I must admit to being in love with the new TT. Anyway, here goes...
2008 Audi TT 2.0TFSI Roadster
Black with limestone grey
18" wheels with high performance tires
Audi Navigation Plus with iPod
Bi-xenon adaptive headlights
Bluetooth
Premium Bose Audio
MSRP = $45,680 incl. destination of $720
Selling price is $43,776 (representing 4% off MSRP)
Taxes, doc fee and acq fee rolled in to monthly
36 month lease
residual is 58%
money factor is .00240 (not great, but there is no way you are going to get a good money factor on a brand new model for the first year - now if I wanted an A4 or Q7, could have been at .00008!!) Was also considering a Porsche Cayman (money factor of .00360) and a BMW 335i coupe (money factor of .00150) so the TT mf is right in between.
Throwing in $1K for cap cost reduction and the magic monthly number with our wonderful 8.5% tax is approx. $675/mo. Little more than I was anticipating spending per month because of the crappy money factor - but I am thrilled nonetheless.
So, anyone think bad/good/decent deal? What are others paying? What do you guys think of the color combo? I was trying to decide on black/silver/white and then used this forum and damn, the black is hot on this car and I think it will look perfect on the roadster. Really looking forward to this car, I have rarely seen such glowing reviews completely across the spectrum from virtually every possible magazine and internet review. Going to be well worth the money - and in the beginning pretty damn exclusive considering that most dealers are getting about two roadsters a month for a long time. I did not not get my order in time for the first allocation, but I am already in line in second allocation, dealer expects mid-June. What are others being told on the roadsters?? Looking forward to being active on this board.....

Re: Where you located?
Located in PHX. No build date give yet. I am in the dealer's second allocation. They gave me approx. June 21, 2007 as delivery date. But said it could be a few weeks before or a few weeks after. I am excited about it, but like my current car so can wait it out. Although trying to figure out ways to cut off my roof to experience the feeling of a having a roadster. Also looked at the 335i coupe and the Boxster/Cayman - but there was something about the new TT I just loved - there is kind of a sinister cold emotion to it. The 335i coupe is hot, but I wanted a roadster and the 335i vert loaded is going to be around $60K!! Must admit saying no to a Cayman being offered for about $75 more a month was very, very, very hard to do! Cayman was like driving a dream, but the refinement and luxury was not there

congrats - residual seems low, no?
Awesome, surprised that the residual isnt higher - 58% is pretty low for a german car I think. Will be neat to have one of the first ones though.
