It's a setting in Central Convenience you have to activate...
In 46-Central Conv. under Byte 5 you need to check off Bit 6. Mine was unchecked in the stock set up.

But thanks for the info should I change my mind.

I purchased the hawk pads this week for my MK2 3.2 and I can tell you first hand there is a problem with them. While it is true they will fit into the caliper as the shape of the Hawk pad is the same as the OEM (which by the way is made by ATE), however, the sensor plug is different than the OEM plug and the Hawk plug will not fit. It appears that on the MK2 cars Audi changed the sensor plug. My only option now is to either return the pads or to cut the plug off from the OEM pads and splice it onto the Hawk pads.

I want to put these on my TTS. Do the 3.2 and the TTS share the same brakes.
Ragtop76, I heard thats a common problem with the sensor so either you leave them off, or splice it which I dont think is a big deal. I would be willing to do that to get the better braking and of course reduced dust.

I have the same problem with PBR Ceramic brakes. I don't have the sensors from my old pads so I just live with the brake pad warning light on my dash
