Good thing I locked my lease rate in Sept '08...
... my residual was 54% @ 12k miles, which is excellent for this type of car.
I think the '09's already a lost a few percentage points in value since.

You got a little over $30k w/ 26.5k miles....on a trade? Really?
I'm just thinking, I've got 7k on mine and it's 6 1/2 months old; 3.2 coupe with all options.... If the dealer would give me closer to $40k on a trade, I'd trade up for a TTS... Right now, I'm seeing bluebook at $34k for a private party sale... so trade-in is closer to $27k or less.. and that's at MY mileage.... My S4 is worth about as much as my TT is... both had almost idential sticker prices, but one is 6 months old, and one is almost 4 years old =/

oddly enough my dealer offered me 35k for my car if I moved up to a fully loaded S5 but the extra cash back would have been pissed away on gas the first year. Can't wait for the TTS.

You have to remember I got a good deal b/c I have purchased so many cars from them. I doubt you would be abel to call them and get the same deal.
