Default I used common sense. You can fix suspension for cheap down the road...you can't retrofit HIDs for

cheap. And good luck reselling a 40k+ car without HIDs.

Haha...indeed, if there was a 2.0t 6mt, I would get that fully loaded. But, I'm getting a 3.2 with the tradeoff that I won't be able to have all features.

Btw, does anyone know if the Oettinger rims will be available in 19"?

You'll never match the MR with aftermarket, so you're in the same boat. Best to get both.

That's probably the smartest thing he can do... We're all biased one way or another.

Default OPPOSITE

if i were you i'd switch the contents of the lists around and find the money for the bluetooth.

magnetic ride is the ONLY reason someone might buy the TT over another car. only reason it is an option and not standard is because some people cannot afford it hence audi separates it so it can sell more cars. the fact that it is an option is a singular distinguishing feature OF the TT. only reason not to get it is if you plan on heavily modifying the car for the singular purpose of racing the car. and even then...

drop the money into the magnetic ride. you'll regret it later if you do not. and get the xenons too. you're spening hard earned money over the G37. but on a superior car.

just do it.

good luck.

Default I'm sorry to say but it appear that you are the ignorant one...

You're probably the same type of person that thinks having a real throttle cable over a drive-by-wire system is better. Or that stability control is unnecessary.

You can't argue with the technology, how it works, or with the praise afforded it on the R8, the Ferrari, and now the TT.

If you want to stick with an established technology, and all of the limits surrounding it, that's your choice. MR is the next revolution in suspension. Please, by all means, tell us how a fixed after-market setup can perform better than an actively adjusting system that can compensate in real-time for all conditions? Come on smart guy... Let's hear how that's going to work?

I guess one option is to hire a monkey to adjust the valving on your after-market system as you go drive around town or on the track.
