Default Getting ready to order 3.2 6mt

Hey guys,

So, I'm 90% sold on the TT (picked it over g37) and will be ordering sometime next week. Wanted to get thoughts on options since I want to keep it as inexpensive as possible. I have used the SEARCH function to read up on previous posts, but I'd love to get new thoughts.

Options

Definitely getting:
Enhanced Interior
Bluetooth preparation

Still considering:
Bi-xenon lights -- is it worth it?
Magnetic Ride -- Jury is still out. I test drove two cars with and without, and I could not tell that much of a difference, but I also did not drive it on any twisty roads

Thanks in advance.

Default If you have to pick one or the other, get the Xenons.

You can always upgrade to an aftermarket suspension if need be. The Xenons are wonderful.

Default Third opinion.

If I was allowed to order only one option, it would be the Xenons. They are worth the price and you will appreciate them everytime you turn them on. Driving at night is that much safer, especially if you drive fast.

Default Also...

Not to mention...Xenons are 800. Mag Ride is 1400.

You can get your Xenons and add Parking Sensors if you want or get your self a really good Radar Detector and Tint done for less then 1400.

Bottom line...trying to sell a 45K car with out Xenons? Ouch.

Default Fourth

Get the xenons if you have to pick one, because a coilover suspension can be added later if you want. The xenons are a very complicated and expensive retrofit.

If I were you I'd drop the bluetooth in favor of the magnetic ride. On some roads, you're right, there really is no difference. But attack some corners with aplomb or drive some twisty roads and the difference becomes quite apparent.

Why do you want bluetooth?

Regardless of whatever options you select, I think you've made the right decision. The new G37 is a great car, but the new TT is even better IMO.

Default Forgot to mention, I will be getting aftermarket 19" wheels

I'm wondering if MR plus 19"s would be too stiff?

I want to be able to talk hands-free with bluetooth, since here in Cali, its illegal to talk and drive as of next year.

Mag ride... Get the xenons only if you drive a lot at night... Mag ride is there all the time!
