Does DSG idle the odd shaft when in 6th? Mine has a noticable delay in the 6->5 downshift, and

Default Does DSG idle the odd shaft when in 6th? Mine has a noticable delay in the 6->5 downshift, and

since the transmission has no <u>other</u> gear to preselect, I can only assume it has <u>no</u> gear preselected on the idle shaft.

Default Hmm, mine seems fast 6->5. But 5->4 and 3->2 are only quick when decelerating....

... I'll pay attention to it some more tomorrow.

Default Try it while cruising in 6th. After a few minutes, downshift, as if to pass, and see

if there's a delay.
