carbon fiber hood

has anyone purchased a carbon fiber hood from either ecs tunning or magnatunning curious if anyone has any preference or any info on either one. Any info would be appreciated!

I am also thinking about the same thing and this manufacture locally in so-cal: VIS Racing Sports.

Are you doing it for looks? The hood is already aluminum. What is the weight savings? Curious.

I bought it with some front end damage including the hood. A new aluminum hood with only prime coat is around $1600. No paint is needed for a carbon fiber hood and cost less to begin with.
