APR ECU Flash for TT-RS
Hi All. I am a new forum member and fairly new to the Audi brand. I picked up a 2013 TT-RS in September. In October, I went with the APR Tuning Stage 1 ECU flash upgrade which was installed by Redline Speed Worx. The car is extremely fast and feels like an exotic with the flash upgrade. Unfortunately, the car started sputtering under WOT (even though it ran fine under normal driving conditions). I took it back to Redline and they worked with APR to analyze the problem. I was under a lot of pressure at work and could not spare the time to work through the sputtering issue, so I had the car unflashed. Redline thinks that it might have something to do with a weak spot in the fuel injection system. After the car was flashed back to stock, the problem completely went away.
Redline and APR were top notch in trying to solve the problem and they refunded the cost of the flash and never charged me for all of the diagnosis. I have been driving the car stock (except for the aftermarket sound system) for the past 1-1/2 months and I find myself really missing all of the torque that came with the flash, so I may try this out again.
My question is, has anyone else experienced this problem? I previously owned a BMW 335i, and I had similar problems when I had the ECU upgraded. Both cars seem to have trouble meeting the fuel demands of the ECU upgrade, but that's just a hunch. Any ideas would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance. D447.

APR Flash is worth Having
I visited APR to have it flashed. I enjoy it's added power every day. Try it again.
Not a single problem with my 2012 TTRS ECU.
O'yes, my brakes did and still does, make a little, unwanted squill from time to time.
Audi will fix it in January.
