Hi all,

2011 TT: there is a small strip of plasticized metallic film stuck to the top surface of the windshield rear view mirror. The adhesive is getting weak and its peeling off. Can anyone tell me about what it is, please? Antenna of some kind for the radio or in-mirror compass? Thanks!

Wondering if that was an after market product of some sort. I’ve been looking around at Audi part stores and unable to locate it.

It appears to be an RFID tag of some sort, maybe for a parking gate or garage access? The antenna shape looks pretty similar to this: https://leadercolor.com/product/ldr-...windshield-tag
