why do people tint their cars? are they ugly?

Exactly! It's also so you can't see the driver. That could be distracting from the car...

Are you serious? I think tinted windows look outstanding.

I never tinted the roadster, since I think roadsters look poor with tint (tinted windows with no roof is sorta = FAIL). I tinted the S5 and it looks pretty damned awesome.

On the freeway in traffic calls for windows up. Easier to hear the stereo, and lessens roar.

I cant say that I have never done it, but its still wrong.

At least its not like those with top down, driver and passenger window, but rear windows up. There should be a man-law against that.
