Default no, it's accepted. i'm not looking for a fight, just ...

a less assertive tone in the future. (iirc, the same thing happened a few days earlier with a 255/35 tire being misread as 225/35, leading to a longwinded and totally pointless debate based on incorrect information).

anyway, no biggie.

Default Hey Grey!

You're cool. If I were in the states, we would definitely meet each other.

I'm going to go with my instincts and say Greece. Am I right?

Default Right :) And I'm serious.

I like it that you're so spontaneous. Same as me. The only problem I have, is that I can't express myself the way I want sometimes, because of the difficulties I am having with the language, but I hope I am doing ok.

I am in Greece yes. I thought you would have figured it out, since my english sucks (lol). There is a huge possibility that I might come to the USA in a couple of years to get a master degree or whatever. I also have some relatives in Chicago, which I might go and see this summer. Where are you from?

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that you r a cool guy and you should keep it that way. I hope we could meet someday.

Cheers, Aris!

Default Thanks a lot ->

I am really trying not to make mistakes (I use the dictionairy very often), but I can never be sure, since I've never lived abroad and what I've learned is from school and personal practise. The forum has really helped in practising and I've learned a lot of technical terms or phrases, but I always feel like "what am I doing here". Sometimes I feel like I 'm not using the right words, so I may be misunderstood or something. But then again, I really enjoy the time I spend in the forum, and I feel like I already know the most of you.

Thanks for the support.

Default You're doing VERY well. The only hint I would have had is that

your english is almost TOO perfect. Like EasTTcoasTT said, most native speakers don't use perfect english. You also don't seem to use a lot of contractions (don't, can't, won't, etc...) but there's nothing wrong with that. I don't think I've misunderstood anything you've said so far. Keep up the good work!

I'm from the Washington DC area. I live about 40 miles outside the city in a place called Fairfax, Virginia. (it's not close to Chicago at all). If you come over to the US and want to visit Washington DC I'd be more than happy to show you around.
