Default Back from the NY Auto Show . . . lots of fun, the ALMS TT was NOT and ALMS TT! lol

We had a very good look at the "ALMS" TT on display. It is actaully a European Audi 225TT! Quite a few tell-tale signs . . .

1. European headlight. They didn't have the amber side reflectors.

2. European front bumper cover without the holes where the insert would go, so it is not missing.

3. Drivers sideview mirror was a European split mirror!

4. European instrument cluster!

5. ALMS sticker on the rear side window, something Denny does NOT have!

How's that one? Audi is not even showing the right car and imported a Euro model and dressed it up as an ALMS, unless this was an S-Line without the badges. Didn't see the engraving on the glovebox, so don't know if they swapped that out before.

Denny, Vishal, Rob, Jay, Joice, Dave, Mike (Dave's brother), a friend of Dave's met us also.

I will post the pics later, need to download from camera and upload to Fotki.

Lotus Elise was really nice! Will be coming out as a road version for between $35k and 38k!

I probably was an S-Line. It doesn't have any special badgework

Default Actually the S Line has two badges . . .

one is an S Line badge I believe on the back of the car and the other is engraved into the aluminum of the glove box. I didn't look at the glove box and the car didn't have a badge anywhere else on it.
