Default TT (MK1) Battery Slow Drain

The battery has a slow drain and dies after a few days of no use. After removing the fuse in spot #23, there is no issue with the battery. However, the cluster LCD screen is now greyed out due to the fuse being removed. I was told pin 23 is always hot and stores the data in the cluster (time and date). Any feedback on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Cluster rebuild from a reputable vendor. Common problem.

Can you recommend anyone who does that sort of repair? I’m having trouble finding anyone who works on that issue specifically.
