Is there any rev limiter in TT's MK1 ?
Hello i was wondering if there is any rev limiter in my 2001 1.8T TT, if there is what is the limit of the rpm, if not why ? I was wondering why I dont seem to have one in my car.. thank you for your help guys.

there is unless it is chipped, which can raise or eliminate it

It's a fairly soft limit. Easier to over rev in lower gears
With fast RPM increase in lower gears it is easier to over rev before the limiter cuts in than in the upper gears where acceleration is slower.
