That includes all labor, Spec Stage 2+, single mass steel flywheel. Slave is another $122 and Rear main seal is $30. Needless to say I was hoping for something a little less.

are you a 180? If not, i would HIGHLY recommend staying >>>
away from the single mass flywheel and going OEM.....the NVH is horrible on 225's.....
The shop should be quoting you 10hrs of labor reference...

Where do you live?
I did my own clutch, 3 days, lots of beer and it was fun.
I spent $600 on an OEM clutch, PP, Flywheel, slave, and hardware from MJM. Great deal from them.
Labor was free of course. If you want to save money buy your parts online amazon has a spec stage 2 clutch & pp for 550 and MJM has a slave and hardware for close to nothing prob $100 total. if you really want to save money dive in and do the work yourself. I can honestly tell you that it's not difficult just time consuming.
Pretty much you take a lot of **** off up top to free the trans, break the bellhousing bolts.
jack up car very high on 4 SUV 6-ton stands.
Support motor with a cherry picker or a chain to the top of a VERY VERY VERY thick garage joist. Or a jack if you have an extra trannie jack
take a bunch of crap off on the bottom then drop the trans.
The bentley has an excellent walk through of it. I sadly didn't take pictures. In one day I had the car torn apart and the next I took my time taking suspension, subframe and axles off the car, dropped the trans and got the clutch it. Third day put it back together.
Before I decided to do the work myself I shopped around the vortex. Post in the R32 & TT sections. Ask if there is anyone in your area that can do a clutch on a haldex equipped car (make sure they have done it before). A guy wanted to charge me $250 and I buy beer to do mine in CT. Search around man.

About 9 hours labor in that job.
Mine ran about $1500 with OEM clutch kit (Sachs) and flywheel (LUK) Have to dissassemble the whole car. Or at least it looks that way.
