Default I just did this. Pretty easy.

Take off the plastic trim around the front of the engine (top of the bumper) and either the battery cover or the coolant tank cover, depending on the side. On the back of the headlight, there will be a wire clip, about 4 inches wide. Flip that off, then the plastic panel on the back of the headlight can be removed. Twist the headlight securing ring, and pull out the headlight. Reinstall in reverse. Don't touch the bulb.

Default one additional note....the drivers side (with the battery) is VERY tight>>>

you may need to remove the battery to ease your access...

True. I was able to do it without removing battery. YMMV

I had to remove my stock intake in order to get the plastic cover out of the way

Default Yeah, I just read his post..I just talked to the dealer and basically told them to ...

fot F themselves. He said, well.."That is what you get for quality, you have to pay a premium." Oh yeah, right, like an under-engineered timing belt? That is quality? Greedy bastards, the whole lot of them at Audi!!
