Default Whats the draw on that 220 motor?

While I'm waiting on mine to show up, I'm going to go ahead and run the electric and build my ramps.

It's a 110 set-up. 20 amps should be fine..

Default I just printed the specs from the web site

<center><img src="http://www.asedeals.com/floorplan_md-6xp.jpg"></center><p>you don't happen to have a cheat sheet for me do you? 4 2x10s 8ft, etc

If not no biggie, the motor is dual voltage 220/110, depending on how you wire it. I'll be running 220 to the garage for it, I'll get the specs from ASE, thanks anyway.

Default Tony has some ramp pics...>>

It comes pre-wired for 110....Not much draw or strain, so that seems fine actually..

Ramps are simple...

Cross braced 2x4's with 2x lumber on the top..<ul><li><a href="http://public.fotki.com/BlueTTop/mods/garage_ramps/">Tony's pics here</a></li></ul>

Default sorry all - been travelling lately- but it looks like you all found the answer

Not many options to get much of a discount.
I'm waiting a bit to order mine, therefore.
Hopefully, I'll still be able to....

Ramps - are they necessary to get in position - or only for lowered cars?

Default Pretty much..>>

The mechanism sticks up more than the specs would indicate, and to slip on even the low pads require a bit of clearance...

You can cheese out and just use a pair of long 2x10's though....:-)
