Post your opinions of the DICE iPod Integration Kit
I honestly just want to see if anyone else is having the same issues as I'm having.
I chatted a bit with tech support and after he said "maybe you're just expecting more out of the unit than you thought" I knew something was up.
If you switch between in-dash CD or radio vs. the DICE unit do you notice the following?:
1) Drop in audio level (have to turn it up to match previous input)
2) Drop in audio quality. It seems the bass levels especially are almost gone.
3) Sounds of chirping when a little louder (think of the sound of a CD "seeking" and turn that up).
I mean the unit costs a fair bit and for me to expect something as straight audio from my iPod to my head unit... I don't know, seems odd that it's performing this badly.
Anyone else have the same thing and just deal with it or am I looking at something wrong here?

I don't have the DICE, but I was happy with my IceLink.
It went through the CD changer channel. It's audio levels were higher than the radios, bass was the same as a CD, and I didn't hear any "clicking" when it was turn out - which is ground interference. I ground loop isolator should fix that, but that would degrade your sound quality even further.

I went and tested my DICE Ipod.
I switched between radio, iPod and CD, multiple times with no noticeable changes in volume or audio quality.
I turned the volume up in all (CD, radio and iPod) and didn't notice any chirping.
If memory serves me right, I think I did experience the volume not matching between different sources initially, and switching the dip switches seems to solve the volume issue. Not sure if it is because of the setting or the DICE unit being power cycled.
I have the dip switches at:
OFF OFF for car config
ON ON for iPod config.

UPDATE: SOLVED!!! >>>
Alright so it was indeed the Sirius module messing things up so I goggled hard and came up with this:
http://audi.bernardiparts.com/images/install/TTCoupe_2005_SatelliteRadio.pdf
SUPER useful. Basically went into the back, opened the side panel and sure enough the module was right there. Unplugged the 2 black plugs (left the orange and green ones) and it now it sounds like magic!
Just wanted to update the thread with the attached link so that people in the same boat can figure it out <ul><li><a href="http://audi.bernardiparts.com/images/install/TTCoupe_2005_SatelliteRadio.pdf">Satellite Radio Install</a></li></ul>
